Baxter & Woodman Engineering Scholarship

2026 SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION

The Baxter & Woodman Scholarship Fund was founded to assist students pursuing a career in the civil or electrical engineering field. It is Baxter & Woodman’s hope that the funds will support incoming college freshmen who are determined to achieve greatness in the civil or electrical engineering field and who will ultimately utilize their high level of skill, talent, and professionalism to serve the community.

Scholarship Amount: $2,000.00

Application Process:

1. Complete the online application.
2. Attach a resume that includes your work history, school involvement, and awards or honors.
3. Submit an essay that covers the following questions. Please answer the following questions, on separate pages, as completely as possible.
   1. Describe how an awarded scholarship would be helpful to you. When answering this question, please include the degree program you intend to pursue and the university you will be attending in the fall.
   2. Describe your leadership activities and community service participation.
4. Submit a copy of your high school transcripts.
5. Submit community service hours and activities.

Notification to recipients will be sent out as soon as Baxter & Woodman’s decision has been made. Scholarship consideration shall be based on a rating scale, which will include application thoroughness, information verification and explanation, and presentation of material.
