This position is located in the Womens Veterans Division  and is responsible for evaluating , developing, and improving programs, policies, and  outreach strategies that serve women veterans statewide. Assignments require independent judgment to analyze program effectiveness, develop recommendations, and coordinate with internal  and external stakeholders.

Special Requirements

Veterans may qualify for a CalVet Veterans Hiring Preference. Military service must be included in the Employment History section of the Employment Applications (STD. 678). Statement of Qualifications

The SOQ serves as documentation of your ability to present information clearly and concisely in writing. In your SOQ, describe your experience, knowledge, and competencies as they relate to each of the items listed below. The items must be addressed and numbered in the same order as listed; do not consolidate responses. The SOQ must be no more than 1 page, typed, using 12- point Arial font on standard letter-sized paper with one (1)-inch margins.

  1. Describe your experience presenting complex information, reports, or data to diverse audiences (e.g., leadership, stakeholders, community members, or the public).
  2. Describe a specific situation where you identified a problem or opportunity, independently gathered and analyzed relevant data, and developed recommendations with minimal direction from your supervisor.
  3. Describe your experience planning, coordinating, and/or facilitating outreach events, training, or stakeholder engagements.
