Role Overview


We are seeking a Digital Product Owner  to own, evolve, and continuously improve a portfolio of internally built and third‑party digital tools that support our field service and operational teams. This role applies strong product management principles—such as user-centered design, roadmap ownership, and value-based prioritization—to internal platforms, with focus on data integrations, data quality, and scalability.


Softwrench is our Field Service Management platform and is currently the primary and most mature platform in this portfolio. The scope of the role will expand to more digital capabilities that we have and continuously build and improve. This position sits within Digital Transformation and operates at the intersection of digital tools, data, and business processes - focused on maximizing business value, usability, adoption, and integration across systems.


What You’ll Own



  • Digital Tool Ownership & Strategy : Act as the single-threaded owner for a portfolio of internal digital tools, defining vision, roadmaps, and success metrics aligned to business outcomes.
  • Primary Platform Leadership : Lead the evolution of our core field service platform, while applying the same product discipline to additional internal tools as they are onboarded.
  • Backlog & Prioritization : Intake, clarify, and prioritize feature requests, enhancements, and defects across tools; maintain clear, well-groomed backlogs and communicate priorities transparently.
  • Stakeholder Partnership : Serve as the primary liaison between Field Service, Analytics, IT, and the Digital Technology team to translate business needs into clear requirements and outcomes.
  • Delivery & Execution : Partner with software developers, analysts, and vendors to plan releases, write requirements, acceptance criteria, and ensure timely, high-quality delivery.
  • Adoption & Change Management : Drive user adoption through release communications, and feedback loops; continuously improve usability and data quality.
  • Data & Integrations : Collaborate on integrations between digital tools and enterprise platforms (e.g., analytics platforms and ERP systems) to ensure reliable, secure, and scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities



  • Own the end-to-end lifecycle of enhancements for internal digital tools—from discovery and prioritization to delivery and value realization.
  • Ensure digital tools are designed with data quality, traceability, and downstream analytics in mind.
  • Balance short-term operational needs with longer-term platform strategy and scalability.
  • Define and track KPIs related to efficiency, reliability, safety, and user satisfaction.
  • Coordinate regular prioritization and review forums with regional and functional stakeholders.
  • Ensure solutions align with security, data quality, and governance standards.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes, reduce manual effort, and improve data consistency through better tooling and automation.

Required Qualifications



  • 5+ years of experience in a Product Owner , Digital Product , Business Systems , or similar role.
  • Demonstrated experience owning backlogs, writing user stories, and prioritizing work based on business value.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills; ability to translate complex business needs into actionable requirements.
  • Experience working with internal platforms, SaaS tools, or operational systems in a cross-functional environment.
  • A strong data management mindset, including appreciation for structured data capture, data quality, and how systems feed analytics and reporting.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have



  • Experience in Renewable Energy industry and Service Operations
  • Experience with ERP systems such as SAP , including integrations, master data, or process alignment.
  • Familiarity with field service, operations, asset management, or work order–based platforms.
  • Experience with analytics and data ecosystems (e.g., data warehouses, BI tools).
  • Agile/Scrum experience and Product Owner certification.
