Job Description

Salary: $112,200 - 185,150 per year Requirements:

  • We require a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or a directly related non-U.S. equivalent qualification.
  • We require candidates to currently reside in, or be willing to relocate to, the St. Louis, Missouri region.
  • For Level 3 roles, we typically look for 5+ years of related experience or an equivalent mix of technical education and experience.
  • For Level 4 roles, we typically look for 9+ years of related experience or an equivalent mix of technical education and experience.
  • We require the ability to obtain U.S. Security Clearance, which means U.S. citizenship is necessary.
  • We require an interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance after start, and some roles may require Top Secret or additional government access approval.
  • We do not sponsor applicants for employment visa status.
  • We require candidates to satisfy our Conflict of Interest assessment process.
  • We require the ability to work 100% onsite at one of our St. Louis region locations.
  • We may require domestic and/or international travel depending on the program.
Responsibilities:
  • We lead requirements decomposition and maintain traceability from customer needs through to testable designs.
  • We develop, document, and sustain electronic and electrical system requirements in line with contract obligations and customer input.
  • We design hardware, software, and interface specifications.
  • We apply established practices, techniques, standards, principles, theories, and concepts to our work.
  • We develop statements of work and technical performance specifications.
  • We translate customer needs into system architecture, hardware, software designs, and interface definitions while preserving end-to-end traceability.
  • We define verification and validation strategies to confirm system performance and compliance with operational and functional requirements.
  • We troubleshoot integration and sustainment issues across the hardware and software lifecycle.
  • We evaluate emerging technologies and shape concepts for future products and internal business strategies.
  • We monitor supplier performance to protect system integrity and requirement compliance.
  • We coordinate with suppliers, test labs, and cross-functional engineering teams to deliver on schedule and within cost targets.
  • We resolve problems affecting fielded hardware and software throughout the full product lifecycle.
  • We mentor junior engineers and help improve processes and technical standards.
