The Role
At Paschal, our Leak Detection Technicians help homeowners solve one of the most challenging plumbing issues—finding hidden leaks quickly and accurately. Using specialized equipment, technical expertise, and strong diagnostic skills, you'll locate water leaks with minimal disruption to the home and provide customers with clear recommendations for repair.

Key Responsibilities
  • Arrive on time with a clear plan for each scheduled service call.
  • Locate residential water leaks using specialized leak detection equipment and proven diagnostic techniques.
  • Inspect plumbing systems for hidden water leaks, slab leaks, sewer leaks, water line issues, code compliance, and other potential concerns.
  • Perform non-invasive diagnostics and troubleshooting to accurately identify the source of plumbing leaks and system malfunctions.
  • Educate homeowners on system operation, maintenance, damage prevention, and recommended repair solutions.
  • Complete plumbing repairs including replacing seals, fixing leaks, and installing water heaters, water lines, garbage disposals, fixtures, and other plumbing components as appropriate.
  • Clear drains and blockages using specialized drain cleaning tools and equipment.
  • Operate advanced plumbing tools and equipment including electrical hand tools, saws, drills, brazing equipment, drain machines, ProPress, and leak detection technology.
  • Document inspection results, work orders, photos, and repair recommendations accurately using mobile technology.
  • Maintain leak detection equipment and ensure accurate reporting of findings.
  • Follow all company safety standards, local plumbing codes, and safety protocols to protect yourself, your team, and customers' property.
  • Deliver an outstanding customer experience on every service call.
  • Apply technical expertise to ensure optimal plumbing system performance and functionality.
  • All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Previous residential plumbing experience preferred
  • Experience with leak detection equipment is a plus, but training is available for the right candidate
  • Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to interpret plumbing systems and identify potential sources of water loss
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Comfortable using tablets and mobile software for documentation
  • Professional appearance and positive attitude
  • Ability to lift equipment and work in residential environments
