Job Description

Payroll/Accounting Specialist

Process payroll on a biweekly basis
Prepare & upload deduction files securely to providers
Maintain payroll records, deductions, and benefits tracking
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations
Reconcile payroll to the general ledger
Quarterly reconciliation of form 941
Processing year-end W-2
Prepare and post journal entries
Assist with month-end and year-end close
Support audits and respond to payroll-related inquiries
Collaborate with HR on employee data changes
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
2+ years of payroll and/or accounting experience
Hands-on experience with tools like UKG
Working knowledge of Great Plains or equivalent
Strong Excel skills
Understanding of payroll laws and tax compliance
Pay $25-$30
High attention to detail and accuracy
