English Teacher – Dongguan Primary School

Location: Dongcheng District, Dongguan, China
Position Type: Full-Time

Qualifications

- Native English speaker from: US, UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland
- Major in Education, Drama or Art preferred
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience with children strongly preferred; TESOL/TEFL/PGCE certification a plus
- Age: 23–35 years old
- Eligible for Chinese Z visa for English teaching

Job Description

- Student age: 6–12 years old
- Class size: 20–30 students
- Working hours: 8:00–12:00, 14:00–17:00
- 2 days off per week
- Less than 22 classes per week, 40 mins per class
- Classroom teaching, lesson preparation and related work
- Complete tasks assigned by the Head Teacher
- Attend weekly teaching research and meetings
- Organize student activities
- Keep learning updated teaching methods and develop own lessons
- Maintain good relationships with colleagues and parents

Compensation & Benefits

- Basic salary: Up to RMB 22,000–25,000 pre-tax (including housing allowance)
