Job Description

Mercury Electronics has a challenging opportunity available for a talented, enthusiastic, and motivated Production Scheduler. We are seeking an outgoing individual, with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in our fast-paced, dynamic environment. Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Review and maintain the production status of customer orders and materials for those orders.
• Collaborate with production team leaders, materials group, and purchasing to determine progress of work and completion dates then providing sales with dates of completion.
• Expedite customer orders and materials for those orders.
• Maintain customer shipping schedules for production, inspection and shipping.
• Maintain web-based status of customer orders.
• Maintain records of order re-schedules from customers.
• Creating spreadsheets, letters, forms and other documents
• Completing special assignments and projects

Candidate qualifications for this position include, but are not limited to:

• One to two years of related experience and/or training in manufacturing; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Must have the ability to communicate appropriately with different levels of employees, from production employees to the President.
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Ability to communicate technical data clearly (both in writing and verbally)
• Highly organized, detail-oriented and able to prioritize work

The following experience is required:

• Basic math skills and ability to read tape measures and rulers accurately
• General knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures such as managing files and records, use of desktop computers, and common office equipment.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & Outlook)

The following experience/knowledge is not required but preferred:

• Experience working for contract manufacturing companies
• Ability to read and fully understand many different forms of documentation including assembly drawings, schematic drawings, wiring diagrams, job orders, and other forms of documentation
• Ability to understand electrical drawings and schematics and apply to electrical assembly details

Pay Rate $20.00-$22.00 hourly
