PMHNP Opportunity - Adult & Geriatric Focus Location: Atchison, KS - Kansas City 50m Full-Time, permanent position Position OverviewSeeking a PMH-APRN to provide comprehensive psychiatric care for adult and geriatric patients. The provider will perform evaluations, diagnoses, and treatment planning with a focus on individualized, patient-centered care including psychotherapy and medication management.Position Highlights Outpatient setting with collaborative interdisciplinary team support Opportunity to provide direct patient care, therapy, and medication management Involvement in individual, group, and family psychotherapy sessions Participate in treatment team meetings and reviews Contribute to continuity of care and quality improvement initiatives Travel between clinic locations may be requiredResponsibilities Perform psychiatric evaluations and establish DSM-based diagnoses Develop individualized treatment plans and provide therapeutic interventions Manage psychotropic medications and obtain informed consent Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines Provide consultation to medical physicians and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams Conduct therapy, medication assessments, and crisis response for patients Ensure compliance with supervision processes and regulatory requirementsQualifications Education: PMH-APRN Licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of Kansas Board eligible or certified in Psychiatry or Geriatric Medicine Experience: Required: Experience in geriatric psychiatry and interdisciplinary team collaboration Preferred: 2+ years of post-master's clinical experience in a geriatric intensive outpatient settingCompensation & Benefits Competitive compensation package Comprehensive health, dental, and vision benefits Paid time off and CME allowance Retirement plan options Supportive work environment with opportunities for professional growth
