Job Description

We are seeking a Senior IAM Engineer with strong expertise in Okta to design, implement, and support enterprise Identity and Access Management solutions. This role focuses on Okta application integrations, Single Sign-On (SSO), and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) .

The ideal candidate will play a key role in enterprise MFA expansion and identity modernization initiatives , integrating both cloud and on-prem applications into Okta while ensuring compliance with security, audit, and regulatory requirements (SOX) .

️ Key Responsibilities

✅ Okta Application Integration

• Design and implement Okta integrations using:
  • SAML 2.0
  • OAuth 2.0
  • OpenID Connect (OIDC)
• Onboard enterprise applications to SSO and MFA
• Configure:
  • Authentication policies
  • Sign-on policies
  • Lifecycle management workflows
• Troubleshoot complex integration and authentication issues

MFA & Identity Security

• Drive enterprise-wide MFA implementation and expansion
• Implement:
  • Adaptive authentication
  • Risk-based access controls
• Enforce Zero Trust security principles
• Recommend authentication strategies to reduce risk

⚙️ IAM Engineering & Automation

• Build scalable IAM solutions using Okta & Terraform (IaC)
• Automate:
  • Application onboarding
  • Provisioning workflows
• Establish IAM standards, best practices, and integration patterns

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Partner with:
  • Application teams
  • Security teams
  • Architects & infrastructure teams
• Gather and document requirements
• Provide IAM consulting and technical leadership
• Coordinate delivery timelines across multiple teams

Governance, Risk & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with:
  • SOX
  • Audit requirements
  • Regulatory standards
• Support:
  • Identity governance
  • Access control policies
• Maintain:
  • Documentation
  • Runbooks
  • Architecture diagrams

Testing & Support

• Perform end-to-end testing of:
  • SSO
  • MFA workflows
• Troubleshoot:
  • Authentication issues
  • User access problems
• Conduct root cause analysis and support production systems

Required Skills

• 5+ years in IAM engineering
• 3+ years hands-on experience with Okta
• Strong experience with:
  • SAML 2.0, OAuth 2.0, OIDC
  • SSO & MFA implementations
• Knowledge of:
  • RBAC
  • Identity lifecycle management
• Experience with Terraform (IaC)
• Strong troubleshooting & analytical skills
• Excellent communication & stakeholder management

⭐ Preferred Skills

• Okta Certification ( Administrator / Professional )
• Experience in MFA transformation programs
• Exposure to Identity Governance (IGA) tools
• Experience in SOX-compliant environments
• Knowledge of Zero Trust security framework
