Restaurant Server Job Summary: The Server is responsible for ensuring that guests have an exceptional dining experience by providing attentive and efficient service. Key Responsibilities: * Greet Guests: Welcome guests with a warm and friendly attitude as they arrive at their tables. * Take Orders: Accurately take food and beverage orders, answering any questions about the menu and making suggestions as needed. * Serve Food & Beverages: Deliver food and drinks to guests in a timely and organized manner, ensuring accuracy and presentation. * Customer Service: Anticipate guests’ needs, provide refills, and respond promptly to any additional requests. * Upsell: Suggest additional menu items such as appetizers, desserts, or drink specials to enhance the dining experience. * Handle Payments: Present checks, process payments (cash, credit cards, gift cards), and return change or receipts. * Maintain Cleanliness: Ensure tables are clean and well-maintained throughout service.
