Registered Nurse - Postpartum | Cambridge, MA | Travel - Temporary Assignment | Start 07/14/2026 for 13 weeks | 12-hour night shifts (7:00 pm–7:00 am) | 36 guaranteed hours per week | Hospital setting, Postpartum unit (5N) | Travel pay: $2,523–$2,618 per week; Local rate within 50 miles: $2,515–$2,610 per week

Responsibilities
- Provide direct postpartum and newborn care for patients after vaginal or cesarean delivery
- Monitor vital signs, fluid balance, I&O, and medications; administer IV antibiotics, IV magnesium (intermittently), PRBCs, rhogam, and lovenox as ordered
- Assess for postpartum complications (e.g., postpartum hemorrhage) and implement unit protocols; respond to changes with appropriate escalation
- Support newborn care and lactation, assist with breastfeeding education and parental guidance
- Document accurately in the EMR (EPIC preferred) and ensure effective handoffs to the next shift
- Uphold safety and infection control standards; participate in discharge planning; coordinate care with the multidisciplinary team
- Work schedule includes every other weekend and every other major holiday; floating not required

Requirements
- Active Massachusetts RN license with NURSYS verification pulled within the last 7 days
- 1+ year of acute/postpartum nursing experience
- Current BLS and NRP required; lactation certification preferred
- Driver’s license with address matching demographics
- EMR experience preferred (EPIC); travel experience preferred; first-time travelers considered
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and meet unit-specific schedule requirements
