TLC Nursing Associates, Inc. is seeking a Social Worker - Behavioral Health for travel assignments in hospitals, mental health facilities, and outpatient clinics. The Behavioral Health Social Worker will provide counseling, crisis intervention, and support services to individuals dealing with mental health disorders, substance abuse, or life challenges.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct psychosocial assessments to determine patients' needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans .
  • Provide counseling and crisis intervention for patients and families.
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals .
  • Connect patients to community resources and support services .
  • Advocate for patient rights and mental health awareness .
  • Maintain accurate and confidential patient records .

Qualifications

  • Education: Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) or related field.
  • Licensure/Certification:
    • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) preferred.
    • CPR/BLS certification required.
  • Experience: At least 1 year of behavioral health experience preferred.
  • Skills:
    • Strong knowledge of mental health disorders and treatment approaches .
    • Ability to handle crisis situations and de-escalate conflicts .
    • Excellent communication and case management skills .
  • Travel Readiness: Willingness to relocate temporarily for assignments.
